Up until recently, it was assumed the DVD versions (with and without the chamber pot) of NUIT TERRIBLE (1896, Melies) were indeed that film, but discoveries of "Beaulieu flipbooks" have caused reassessment, so that it now appears the flipbook marked "Nuit Agitee" is actually NUIT TERRIBLE, and the DVD "Nuit Terrible" is BON LIT (1899, Melies).. Melies' catalog gives the same description for both films, but the DVD "Nuit Terrible" looks a bit more sophisticated in both set and camera work, indicating a later date, i.e., 1899.
