Any film title not listed here is either (1) a Lost Film, (2) a Non-Existent Film, (3) a Non-Genre Film, or (4) an Alternate Title which I have not listed for one reason or another. If you have a question about any missing film title, leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer quickly.
LOST FILMS: Not listed as extant at BFI, DFI, AFI, GPA, CF, CNC, NFSA, UCLA, GEH, or at other archives searched, or by Magliozzi, and not otherwise found online at websites such as YouTube, Archive, OK, Biqle, Amazon Prime, and so forth. If Doctor Kiss says it is Lost or Extant, it is almost certainly Lost or Extant, but there have been exceptions to that rule.
NON-EXISTENT FILMS: Claimed made but almost certainly not.
NON-GENRE FILMS: *With* exceptions, films which are not beyond natural (supernatural) or not beyond known science (science fiction), including mistaken identity ("tramp stuck in mattress mistaken for ghost") and intentional phonies ("criminals pretend to be ghosts"). Animated films, especially if experimental or with anthropomorphism, are in a grey area.
